What would America had been like if Cheaty McNosepicker and the Chrisliban had not stolen that election?

17. I dunno

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ann_Richards

Film Bush's Brain: Ann Richards was a topic in the film Bush's Brain (by Joseph Mealey and Michael Shoob), in a long segment regarding her defeat in the 1994 election for Texas Governor. The film presents the case that the defeat of Richards involved a whispering campaign that the governor (mother of four children) was a lesbian because she had allegedly hired many gays and lesbians to work on her re-election campaign.

6. Texans messed up BAD with that one. What would Ann say about Kay Bailey Hutchison?
What would Ann say about Rick Perry for that matter?

What would Molly Ivins say?

9. Ann lost on ONE issue and ONE issue alone.
Had Ann not vetoed the legislature AND the referendum that passed on concealed handgun licenses in Texas she would not have lost. W ran with "if it gets to my desk I'll sign it" campaign and that's all it took. The people of Texas were pissed off BIG TIME at Ann. It cost her and this whole nation eventually.

21. He would have tried again ...
... or run for senate, or moved to a different state and tried there. He felt entitled to an office. He would have got one somehow.
