I don't agree with all the rules either but I like DU so I abide by them.

If somebody feels the standards here are too restrictive, go post somewhere with more liberal rules.

It's good to be abreast of the issues and armed with facts, otherwise you won't have a leg to stand on, and then you end up losing face and being the butt of a lot of jokes. That can be really hard to stomach.

53. I'm as liberal as they come but I don't see the connection between a slang word for
"wimp" and an entire gender. People use the d-word on here and I am not offended because I am a male.

It looks like due to the removal of topics this forum isn't as free speech as I thought.
Maybe you can explain why vulgar words like fuck and shit are acceptable but can't say the p-word for some reason. The p-word even gets through sensors on comedy central.
