About one year ago, the Republicans had their convention...
... and the media treated it, and the emergence of Sarah Palin, as the death knell for Obama's campaign.

They're doing it again. They hope we will believe them, lose heart, and stop fighting.

We proved them wrong then. Time for a repeat performance.

Time to open our annual summer can of progressive whoop-ass.

1. About 1 yr ago, several house were raided and fully armed swat teams dragged people out
It was the start of the police state in Minneapolis and St Paul.

8 people were arrested before the convention had even started. By the end of the RNC over 800 people arrested, detained and charged.

There have been many, many, many Trials and only 3 guilty convictions.

The start of the trials begin for the RNC 8. The scheduling hearing is on WEdnesday.

The Democratic Politicians have remained either silent or praised the over the top military style police action.

those who organized are charge with conspiracy to riot and acts of terrorism. the charge of acts of terrorism have been dropped, but they still face felony. For "organizing"... for making sure those coming to exercise their right to free speech had a place to stay, to eat, to meet up with others, to work on flyers, banners and posters. For that they were charged with acts of terrorism.

Yet, people can come to health care rallies with load guns, and signs with violence and hate. I have not seen the tea-baggers corralled into 20 ft high black fences. Or threated with tear gas and tazers.
