Soldiers From Nato-Led Forces Killed in Kabul Suicide Attack

An explosion on a busy main road in Kabul today killed several soldiers serving for the Nato-led forces.

A spokesman for the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) could not confirm the nationalities or numbers of those affected.

�There have been some ISAF soldiers killed and several wounded,� an Isaf press officer said.

Three of the UN's Afghan staff members were also thought to have been injured in the explosion, which happened on the road leading from Kabul to the largest US base in the country at Bagram.
