Homestead, FL woman's house auctioned by mistake
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/miami/sfl-homestead-house-bn081909,0,3411544.story

A bizarre series of mix-ups forced a Homestead woman out of her home when it was auctioned by mistake, WPLG Ch. 10 reports.

On Wednesday night, Anna Ramirez was evicted by a man who bought her house — even though her house wasn't for sale.

The bank, Washington Mutual, auctioned the house off by mistake while Ramirez was in the process of modifying her loan, WPLG reports.

She came home to find all her belongings on her front lawn.

1. Since you can't get good title to stolen property, she still owns it.

4. I hope that's true
I also hope her belongings weren't left out in the rain, weren't stolen and didn't include minor things like dogs, cats or other potential prey.

6. Clerk didn't record the judge's signed order.
I hope she didn't lose any of her property when it was removed, but at least she still has title to her property.
