The GOP Is Counting Their Chickens Before They Hatch
I glanced over at Pat Buchanan and Joe Scars for a minute and they are already planning the big party and measuring the curtains for when they re-take the House next year.

1. You noticed?
Yeah, they smell victory. But this debate is like a pendulum - it swings wildly from one side to the other - it seems to me? I think it is ready to swing back the other way.

3. Yea kentuck
they're real good at playing the fear card along with taking money from their 'grassroot' supporters and not actually getting anything worthwhile done. They won't be on break forever, they're gonna have to go back in session and speak ON THE FLOOR to the American people's concerns-which they are really lousy at doing. That is when the freak show starts again-then we'll take another look at those numbers Nate.

2. They will probably pick up House seats.
And as far as I can tell they have already won by effectively killing any real health care reform.

I believe as Howard Dean, Bill Clinton & President Obama that health care with a public option will pass congress and if it takes 51 votes in the senate to pass it, so be it.

Obama knows very well that his future as well as the democratic majority in congress depends on passing a public option.

Obama just has to say fuck you to the republicans and get the fucking paid-off blue dog democrats on board...even if it takes threats of other democrats opposition in the primaries, exposing how much they are really accepting from the insurance industry and a good ass-kicking to get them in line...it needs to be done!
