5. Detroit wasnt drowned on national television
Goddamnit, this statement pisses me off. As if we should not care about people fucked by mother nature and by their fellow man because there is another town somewhere where they have no jobs? Have you ever been to NOLA? I hardly think there was ever a competition between her and Detroit for poorest, worst off city.

Then gentrified by MURDER.

8. Only because nobody cares to film it.
"As if we should not care about people fucked by mother nature and by their fellow man because there is another town somewhere where they have no jobs?"

Turn your statement around:

As if we should not care about people fucked by our national economic policy and by their fellow man because there is another town somewhere where they suffered a storm?

Cuts both ways.

6. I thought Obama blew up the levies, then played around with a guitar while the city drowned!!!
After all, part of DU tells me Obama is now responsible for everything Bush did. And they're the same anyway.

7. And they couldn't have done it without Joe Lieberman heading the Homeland Security committee
Why won't there be an investigation into the emails Brownie was talking about, where Homeland Security wanted to make the female, Democratic governor look bad?
