Here's the new uniform I recommend for congressional representatives:

Here's the new uniform I recommend for congressional representatives:


Also, I think when they refer to each other, the should say "my esteemed college from the great corporation of Monsanto" instead of "from the great state of Iowa" for example.

The number of congressional representatives that could seriously be claimed to not be primarily influenced by the money of powerful privileged interests is so small that the distinction is merely techinical.

The overwhelming majority of representatives in Washington are heavily, heavily funded - in fact primarily funded, by a small number of highly privileged wealthy interests.

That's how the game works.

I can stipulate that there are an exceptionally small number of exceptions to this - so small that they have no real political power - as long as no one mistakes that technical exception as somehow pretending that corporate owned politics is not the dominant feature across both political parties.

EDIT - and by the way, whether corporate owned or not, it would still be neat to see them sporting their corporate sponsors.
