2. Scarborough was very disingenuous.
He was constantly twisting and interpreting Weiner's words instead of honestly debating the issue.

5. "You're saying that this country isn't run on free market principles."
Wiener had Joe dead in the water. Joe puked up a talking point hairball (i.e., non sequitur) and was left stuttering.

6. Thanks for posting. This is a riot. Joey can't answer Weiner's question -
he is trying to bluster and bully his way through it but he can't answer it.

What is the purpose or the benefit of private insurance companies? Hahhahahhahaha Very simple question but no answer forthcoming.

He (Joe) tries to use all those crappy debating tricks by turning the question back on him, acting too outraged to respond to such a terrible question, etc. He can't do it!!!

12. A suggestion for Anthony (and everyone else)
arguing for Medicare for all.

You MUST make the point that easy access to care at a younger age will result in lower costs for chronic conditions that arise in Medicare's risk pool because treatment was avoided earlier on due to its cost and lack of coverage. It's cheaper to treat hypertension than it is to do a heart bypass.

Also, with Medicare for all you can provide bonus payments to doctors whose patient pools show improvements in wellness measures -- weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.

Finally with medicare for all, you cut out 30% overhead and profit for insurance companies, replace it with 4% administration costs for Medicare and, perhaps more importantly, you cut 15% out of the medical office cost structure by streamlining the billing department on the provider side. Add in the "savings" from no more uncompensated ER visits having to be spread across people who actually do pay -- and finally, shift current private payments for medical insurance into the bigger and more efficient program. Voila -- you have a solvent plan that saves money.
