15. as a dog lover all my life...
I would have never thought that I would really like cats... but after having our first Maine Coon cat for a year now we love them....so we got another kitten to be friends with him.

I must warn you that one's an English budgie, and they're pretty hard on the eyes; like a robin with a sperm whale head--and all the libido that whale's name implies

19. Got an African Grey myself
She's as smart as any dog and has a much better sense of humor. In fact, a lot of her time is spent luring the dogs over by pitching her food out onto the floor and then running down to try and honk their noses. Living in the city has been hysterical with her. Now in addition to talking up a storm, she can do bus brakes, house sparrows and a couple of varieties of car alarms!

Yep, nice break from the anxiety.

21. LOL.... ours was very fun to watch with our dogs also...
Our Samoy/Lab mix new she couldn't go near the bird but Cleo used to hang upside down off his cage door and wait for the our dog to come by... which she had to, to get in to the living area we had. Then she would jump down onto the couch... to the floor and waddle over to where our dog was laying forcing him to run.

I miss having her...she was a very affectionate bird... of course she had bonded to me...:-)
