They keep talking about how many votes the dems have (without Byrd and
Kennedy). I predict that the buildup to the final vote will come to a crescendo, when Byrd and Kennedy are wheeled in on gurneys. Kennedy will feebly raise his hand to cast the deciding vote and then die. It will be very touching.
