Former Playboy model Jasmine Fiore's body was found stuffed in a suitcase in a rubbish skip.

A self-proclaimed reality TV "millionaire" is being sought by police, after the body of a Playboy model believed to be his wife was found hacked to pieces inside a rubbish bin on a suburban street in Los Angeles.

Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a 32-year-old Canadian businessman who recently achieved celebrity on a dating show for wealthy men seeking a trophy girlfriend, has not been seen since he reported Jasmine Fiore missing on Saturday evening.

He was yesterday named a "person of interest" by police trying to establish what happened to Ms Fiore, a swimsuit model, after she left her Hollywood flat on Thursday night bound for a poker tournament in San Diego, carrying a suitcase full of money.

6. It's the name of a movie starring Mariel Hemmingway in the role of Dorothy Stratton.

Another playboy bunny. Eric Roberts was totally creepy in the role of her murdering husband. Worth a watch even today.

8. Think I might have to watch it again, too.
:) It was brilliant... Bob Fosse's last flick I believe. Hugh Heffner raised a stink about it, for reasons I don't recall.

Very disturbing story, and long afterward people said Eric Robert's career kind of tanked after this movie because his portrayal was so intense and "true" to the personality of an obsessed loser, no one could envision him any other way.

9. I agree that it was a brilliant movie...
Roberts turns in one the finest performances I have ever seen. His character was indeed an obsessed loser. But an obsessed loser who is bewildered by the growing awareness that he is considered a lowlife, while Hefner and the Bogdonavich character have a high status and are considered to be quite respectable. Snider (Roberts) considers them to be kindred spirits in that all three characters' fortunes are built upon the exploitation of female beauty. Roberts never articulates this argument, but his actions throughout the film make his point of view unmistakable. And there is much truth in that.
A brilliant performance in a brilliant movie that combines the themes of obsession, fear, celebrity, ambition, the tangled relationships between men and women, and murderous jealously. All of the performances are excellent(even by those in minor roles), but Roberts is stunning.

Bob Fosse was an American Genius

11. You encapsulated the main thrust of that flick perfectly Mitchum!

And I agree with you completely that Bob Fosse was an American Genius.
