Facebook polls - my god, there seem to be so many more rightwing wackos there

I get sucked into those things and next thing I know hours have gone by.

the latest poll I voted in was "did you know illegals will get free healthcare under the senate's bill?"

4. I keep getting right wing ads

on my facebook page. So I click the thumbs down thingy and then they ask why and I click other and then it provides a box to type my comment. I really hope someone is reading my comments! I'm so sick of that right wing bullshit on my page! Crap, with all the info facebook collects you'd think they'd know that I'm clearly not interested in becoming Glenn Becks bff forever!

6. What have you declared your political views as?

I have shown my own views as "Independent Left" on there and I never have that problem.

The one thing that did annoy me was a little while ago I kept getting ads for dating sites all the time, so I removed my relationship status and now it's ads for concert tickets and mobile phone networks I keep getting!

Oddly enough I see much more RW ads on here then on Facebook.

...but I tend not to get very much in the way of proletizing right wingers on Facebook myself. Maybe it's my friends, maybe it's the fact that I'm in the UK and UK RWers on facebook seem more keen on Jeremy Clarkson and in joining groups calling for (insert name of any notorious criminal here) to be strung up. I dunno but I can't complain too much about politics on my own FB account at present.
