The third and final phase against healthcare reform has begun...

They did it with the Clinton's plan in 1994. Most folks don't even notice that it has begun. But if you look closely in the next few days, you will begin to see more and more "polls". They have been extra heavy just in the last couple of days.

There are "polls" about how Obama is losing ground in his favorability. There are polls about how people do not trust the "public option". There are polls showing people love their present insurance coverage. There are polls showing that people believe health reform is "socialistic". There will be dozens and dozens of polls in the next few weeks.

But the poll that will be most quoted will be the one showing Obama is losing more and more ground as he continues to support reform of our healthcare system. There is a strategy behind these so-called polls. They wish for people to believe the polls are the same as an official vote at the ballot box. They want the Administration to believe that Barack Obama is losing so much support with his health care reform that he is losing any chance for re-election the next time around. Just watch in the next couple of weeks...

Just like there was a contingency plan in Florida in '00 to have a whole new slate of electors I don't know if these people ever run out of ways to obstruct and impede progress in this country.

This poll is just for starters. Depends on where you go. There are LOTS of polls out there, and I think the sky isn't falling.

There will be a few in Obama's favor but the vast majority will tilt the other way, in my opinion. We shall see.

Honestly, I don't get it.

Not so I can be disappointed but so I can be prepared. I remember how the "polls" on Clinton's health plan started about 70% and was whittled down in the polls as if the people actually voted. In the end, they surrendered without a vote. I do not want to see that happen this time. Call it whatever you want.
