Obama striving to stay out of fray "until the president can get away on vacation this weekend"
For the second time in two days, Mr. Obama did not mention health care on Tuesday, a marked departure from the aggressive public relations campaign he mounted in July and early August. The White House is striving to stay out of the fray, aides said, until the president can get away on vacation this weekend.

I don't think the aides are doing anybody any favors framing it like that.

2. Must be driving the Congresscritters (even more) insane.
Our guys want guidance and backup, the opposition wants something, anything, to attack. Actually, I think "our guys" are in on the joke and the whole thing's going to go quiet while the Obamas are out of town.

Too funny - Boner and the rest are going to have fits. Heads will pop. Shit, Sarah Palin might not get a front page story or featured on Faux for for a couple of days. She'll think her fifteen minutes are done and begin contemplating her own personal death panel.

3. Well, since the article isn't ABOUT that ..
strange that you would cherry pick it from the bottom of the article for comment.

What it IS about is that the Democrats may be coming to their senses about the party of "no", and planning to work things out among ourselves. It's actually pretty hard on republican'ts and their weakness and cave ins to their ignorant mobs.

4. Obama shows his strength and courage ...
Obama shows his strength and courage
by avoiding involvement in the US's
national debate about health care.

BRAVO!
