Fox News hosts implying that Barney Frank was too rude to Obama-is-Hitler woman
Video of Fox News hosts
Sean Hannity,Neil Cavuto, and Steve Doocy
implying Barney Frank was unacceptably rude:

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2009/8/20/769604/-Fox-thinks-its-quite-rude-to-slam-anti-Obama-Nazi-attacks

Sean Hannity: The arrogance, the condescension, the battling with the voters.

Neil Cavuto: They're taxpayers, he just doesn't care.

Steve Doocy: Barney Frank starts attacking the same people who put him in office.

1. Ummmm ... Steve ...
I'm willing to wager those same people aren't the ones who put him in office.

6. I've also got $10 that says the protester doesn't even know Frank is Jewish.
As someone with Jewish ancestry, I know if someone shoves Nazi propaganda in my face and starts making Hitler comparisons, it's going to get really ugly really fast.

Mr. Frank handled it a lot better than I would have.

13. Or, maybe she did know, and thought she could capitalize on the reference
Maybe she thought he would be stupid enough to be outraged and, as a result, see her side.

Whatever her motive or purpose, she sure did make a huge mistake!

2. That isn't possible.
There is no "rude enough", so how could there be a "too rude"?

4. Well conservatives changed the tone in America
to where discourse is reduced to screaming and shouting. Right wing dumbasses tell the lemmings to go out and shout down your congressman, Frank was just acting like a conservative, arrogant, condescending, attacking. And I highly doubt the little lass put Frank in office.

5. Of course, the little lady calling Obama and Frank 'Nazis' is A-OK with them. How can you watch that
crap?

9. I just watched a Daily Kos video with clips.
I didn't watch Sean Hannity or Steve Doocy or Neil Cavuto yesterday.

7. Somehow, someway, I don't think that nutcase put Barney Frank in office
I could be wrong though... :eyes:

And I think Sen. Frank handled her PERFECTLY. You can't reason with someone like that.

8. I see. One can be called a Nazi and that is acceptable
but to call out someone for that attack would be rude.

10. you know what pisses me off
that these RW nutjobs are allowed to call and compare Presient Obama to Hitler but when the Dixie Chicks said that they were ashamed that Bush was from Texas they were blacklisted.

11. The Hitler reference was going way to far in my opinion. She has
every right to question health care, especially since no one is getting a straight answer from anywhere even this Administration can't all tell the same story which breeds misinformation. She can question Obama, she can disagree with him on this or any issue and I have no problem but to imply he's essentially Hitler is beyond rational.
In one sense I understand some of the uproar, politicians are 'supposed' to be diplomatic and his response was hardly such. Personally I thought it was a breath of fresh air to see someone actually drop the BS and give it straight.

On a side note is it just me or does anyone else eventually expect a staffer to sit under Barny when he's talking and hold up cue-cards for the audience with the subtitles to understand what he's saying? Eventually I keep imagining a card will eventually come up "???". I'm trying to get through an ear infection and it's harder than normal to understand him.

12. Transcript of Barney Frank
FRANK: When you ask me that question I am going to revert to my ethnic heritage and answer your question with a question: “On what planet do you spend most of your time?”

You stand there with a picture of the president defaced to look like Hitler and compare the effort to increase health care to the Nazis, my answer to you is, as I said before, it is a tribute to the First Amendment that this kind of vile, contemptible nonsense is so freely propagated.

Ma’am, trying to have a conversation with you would be like trying to argue with a dining room table. I have no interest in doing it.

(There may have been a break between some of these sentences.)

14. Of course, Hannity would stick up for the anti-semite over Barney Frank.
After all, Hannity pals around with Jew-Baiting White supremacists.

15. Yeah, Doocy, that ass clown voted for Frank.
The right-wing's cult of victimhood is hilarious, though.

16. No suprise there...
"Fixed" News never stops shocking me. Their idiocy and hypocriticial nonsense is outrageous and ludacrious, yet strangely hilarious. When Bernie Sanders says Fox is a branch of the GOP, he ain't fooling around!

They must love comparing The President to hitler. They seem to get a real kick out of it.
