Reid warns GOP that reconciliation is a "real option."
WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama is still talking compromise on a comprehensive health care bill to extend coverage to nearly 50 million Americans who lack it and contain rising costs. Privately, Democrats are preparing a one-party push, which they feel is all but inevitable.

On Wednesday, Jim Manley, spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., warned Republicans that reconciliation is a real option. The White House and Senate Democratic leaders still prefer a bipartisan bill, he said, but "patience is not unlimited and we are determined to get something done this year by any legislative means necessary."

1. I'll believe it when you actually DO it, Mr. Reid.
I've been fooled by you way too many times already.

3. Hear Hear, Sir!
Reid has no credibility whatever when it comes to threats of ruthless action in favor of the people and against Republican desires.

5. Yes, as I said when the story broke that the WH and Dems were "considering" going it alone

the thing I don't like about this story is the fact that we're hearing about it. That suggests that it's a ploy to get more cooperation from Repukes in the watering down process.

Like my friend Tuco says, When you have to shoot, shoot! Don't talk.

4. Broken twig?
We'd be lucky if he did. More like a limp noodle of spaghetti.

7. This is a real possibility
And all the more reason why we should be calling and writing to Reid. If they do go the reconciliation path, it is my understanding that it will be Reid who puts the bill together.

Harry, you have no credibility. It would be amazingly great if you would earn some, especially on this issue.
