4. I feel like going home, grab some scrap wood and start hammering away.
The cat will love it!

not the hammering part.... :hide: he'll love his cat latter.

8. Yeppers.. If you love 'em keep 'em inside.
Mine climb all over the place & hubby built them a cool "cat-tower".

6. Ooh, that bottom one is an ugly, horrible cat ladder.
It almost looks like Bobby Jindal, that's how bad it is. ;-)

15. I've had some stupid cats in my time
I mean, real boneheads. The kind that no matter from what position you drop them, they land on their head, and they jump up and beg you to do it again. That thing would be a deathtrap for them.

9. I dunno. Mum's got no ladder but they still wind up at her upstairs bedroom window.

Yammering to be let in.

10. I built a temporary mouse ladder once...
My idiot cat Monsoon (one of seven, not all quite such idiots) insists on going outside where she occasionally attempts to hunt.
She is lousy at it, and has never, as far as I know, successfully killed any prey. She will proudly carry them across the lawn, put them down, and then they will stand up and run off.
One such mouse escapee ran directly into a nearby window well, where it was apparently trapped. (Walls too high.)
I grabbed Monsoon, shut her inside the house and came back out with a narrow wooden slat about 4 feet long. Leaned it into the window well.
When I came back out, mouse was gone.
I am inordinately proud of myself for this.
Don't laugh.
