So you quit your job because you weren't making enough
money for a man with kids in college and promptly got a $90,000 a year gig on the Home Depot Board of Directors after they had profited greatly from your duct tape and plastic sheeting bullshit. Now, five years later, you tell the real story (which we all knew anyway).

Everyone who lost a minute of sleep or spent money on duct tape or changed their travel plans because of your bullshit should get to piss on your ugly lying face, Mr. Ridge. Fuck you and the Republican horse you rode in on you piece of shit.

Why anyone would want bi-partisanship after what these low-life shit bags subjected us to for eight long illegitimate years is beyond me. Letting them stay out of jail is more bi-partisanship than these douche bags deserve.

1. Tom Ridge is only making $90k/year??
Frankly, I'm surprised.

He was making a hell of a lot more in the public sector and $90k isn't what it used to be.

and attaching his "honorable" name to that bastion of corporate responsibility, The Home Depot.

8. Gotcha.
...and yes, The Home Depot is evil.

I have a friend at work who has invented a tool of use to electricians. He patented it (under multiple patents) and pitched it to Home Depot. After over 6 months of negotiations, they told him that they intend to make changes and market their own version of his invention. This is a tool that they will sell for $12-$15, and my friend's cost...using American sourcing and without volume discounts, is $3. They balked at what was essentially his $2/piece royalty demand.

Ever see "Flash of Genius"? This invention isn't the intermittent windshield wiper, but the corporate greed is the same.

6. That's for about four days a year of work, when the Board meets,
as I recall there was extra pay for special meetings.

2. Letting them stay out of jail isn't bi-partisan. It's criminal.

4. I can't imagine that there is anything that good about Washington and
power that would make someone sink that low. I think Ridge may have been a decent man at some time in his life. What a legacy to leave and what do you tell your grandchildren about how you conducted your business and upheld the public trust. The man should just crawl under a rock.

10. The whole Homeland Security thing was a bon mot to Ridge
because he was "supposed to be" the veep choice until Dick chose himself..

Ridge passed on running for another term as governor (IIRC) and then was left holding a bag of shit.

Junior gave him his own gig, and now we have that behemoth HS dept, full of duplicative stuff.
