How can I get a human to help me at PayPal?
No need to donate for me, thanks. I just am working out some technical difficulties.

Basically, the card attached to my PayPal account is no longer active. I've also forgotten my password. So yesterday, I attempted to change my password--but I can't because I don't remember the account number that is attached to the account. So I tried to change the account number to the current one and--YOU GUESSED IT--I can't because I don't have a password.

Due to security issues, I'd rather go through PayPal.

I'm happily anticipating planting a blow on Douchebag Dobbsie. Help?

3. I don't know if this will help, but here is a phone number
PayPal Customer Service:

1-402-935-2050
(a U.S. telephone number)

4:00 AM PST to 10:00 PM PST Monday through Friday
6:00 AM PST to 8:00 PM PST Saturday and Sunday

They will probably still want that PIN number.

5. I paid by credit card,
then got a notice from paypal to change my password. FWIW, I've never had a problem not using paypal. I had the exact same problem you had. Couldn't resolve it until just a few minutes ago when I donated to DU. Go figure!

8. 1-402-935-2050
Give the bot the last 4 of your SSN.

In the next menu say "agent" any time after the bot's voice starts (even though it's not an option)

Wait for a human to answer.

9. Go to ebay and read there.
One time I had to help someone with their Paypal account and found out how to get help on ebay message boards. Paypal is part of ebay and just about everyone on there uses paypal. I was able to get things worked out eventually but it was a pain! I have not been to ebay in a while but they have a lot of help boards there.

10. Try getting a human on the phone at the Unemployment Office..
I finally did today after about 6 hours on hold, and he hung up on me after I asked to speak with someone who could actually help me with my questions.

6 fucking hours, 2 minutes of his time and click. Nothing solved, not even a suggestion of how I can get help. I have no idea what I'm going to do now. I'm on the street at the end September.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, but I had to tell that story to someone or I was going to burst.

11. When things were good for Mr. B@L and I and he was going through the citizenship process,
you CAN probably imagine what we went through with INS. We once had FOUR different lines trying to reach them--I finally got a human and I just loudly pleaded to him: "Don't hang up! He's coming!"

SEVEN hours. I only wish I were kidding--just to set up an appointment.
