What would the Bush* Admin be doing if they were trying to pass MAJOR legislation affecting

a major part of our country.

Yes, you have guessed correctly...

"We have upgraded the terror threat level to red. There are specific threats to this country that could happen. If you don't pass this legislation, there will be a terra attack on this country."

The corporate media then spends endless hours disecting this terra threat, while congress passes the major legislation with nary a whimper or argument from the corporate media and the amurikan public.

2. And they would take recalcitrant members of Congress to Dick Cheney's woodshed off the Senate

and threaten funding for projects in their districts if they were Democrats and cut off their access to RNC election funds if they were GOP. That agenda passed no matter how unseemly the pressure tactics used to pass it.

That kind of treatment is reserved only for liberal Democrats now.
