What's this BS that the Pubs are now demanding 80 votes
to pass a HC bill? I'm listening to this on Rachel now, and apparently several Pubs Enzie, Grassley & Hatch are all calling for that!

8. I don't live in Iowa, and I've heard the only people they listen to are
constituents. Do you think I can get away with faking a name & address in Iowa? I'm really pissed that these ah's think they can even get away with saying stuff like that!

13. This is what I sent to Grassley's ass.
I would like to report a criminal act. Someone in the GOP is trying to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America by saying that there has to be 80 votes to pass a bill in the Senate. That sounds treasonous.

2. They've lost already...
...they're arguing about how much they can lose by and still cover the spread.

Stick a fork in 'em.

9. They were going to go to the "Nuclear Option" to get what they wanted, but
the Democrats should do the opposite to get what they want?

Why hasn't any high-ranking Democrat swatted them down?
They'll demand a "fair share" of committee chairmanships next.

5. Not without some Democrats...
...they must be expecting to lose Snowe at a minimum on the cloture vote, and are trying to game some Democrat.

They need 51 to stop final passage -- actually agreeing to the conference report.

comes down hard and puts them out of their misery.

12. Did the Republicans have 80 votes to pass the Bush* tax cuts?
No, they rammed it through via reconciliation.
