The "conservative mentality" nowadays.
I got these two answers from two Freeper-types on another message board, when I asked them if ditwits with guns would have been allowed anywhere near Bush's town hall rallies.

RS>What would have happened to anyone carrying around an AR-15 at a Bush
RS>town hall meeting?

He either wouldn't have been alone or he would have been a whacked out
wild-eyed liberal.

(next)

AS> People were thrown out, even arrested, for wearing anti-Bush T-shirts.

You are a liar, AR-KAY.

(next)

So...according to these right-wingers, only liberals bring guns to a presidential town hall meeting, and Bush's goon squads NE-VER threw out or arrested people simply for having the "wrong" T-shirt. :sarcasm:

BTW, the first one posts any and every opinion piece saying Obama's poll ratings are headed down, fast.

But during the Bush years? Polls didn't count, since they are only taken by "liberal" groups.

The second guy has nothing to add to the political discourse, he is like that nutso ditz that Barney Frank chewed out.

1. New talking points
Some freaking radio show I heard, maybe tue or wed was talking about how all the assassinations or attempted were perpetuated by left wing loons. Now, I have no idea about that but they tried to tie
Reagan shooting? to Jodie Foster being a Hollywood leftie. WTF???? Lately I have been comparing
Progressive hosts to Conservative hosts and the biggest difference I can see is the anger and hatred, fear mongering on the right. On my local Progressive station the tone is always concise, rational, etc.. sure it gets heated but no comparison.

2. Presidential assassins

Oswald was a far-leftist. No doubt about that.

Hinckley was simply nuts.

Going further back, John Wilkes Booth was a far-rightist, for that time.
Openly Southern sympathizing ultra-conservative.

The guy who killed Garfield was like Hinckley, simply nuts.
Everyone was out to get him.

The guy who killed McKinley was an anarchist.
