Hey, Maybe McCain is smarter than we give him credit for…

Look, John has to know that, no matter how much Bush ass he kisses, Rove/Diebold will never let him anywhere NEAR the Republican Presidential Nomination. So…how can he get back at Bush…

Rove and Bush play the Expectation game to a T. As long as several nuclear bombs aren’t going off in the Green Zone per hour, Iraq is “Better off now, than under Saddam(tm)”.

Enter McCain. “Things are going well, hell, I can stroll down the streets of Baghdad.” So now the expectations are that success is really “just around the corner”. Result, (talk about “Bring it On”) the Green Zone may as well be painted to a target. I’m telling you, genius, pure genius.

Then again, he may be a dumb shit who actually believes Bush’s military lackeys…

1. He could be campaigning to be Cheney's replacement, too.
Why else would his behavior be so bizarre in supporting this lunatic administration...other than that he can step in an it would appear "seamless" to their 25% Base that they are running the country for.

Otherwise McCain is just as crazy as the rest of them...but he covered it up for years.

2. My fave Tinfoil theory: McCain is being forced to do this crap, to make other repubs appear sane...
...in comparison. :silly:

look ridiculous and those who spout it idiotic.
