Who the hell is Lt. Governor Betsy McCaughey?

And why is she such a moron?

How is it that John Stewart can better explain end of life counseling and HR 3200 than Mrs. McCaughey?

Actually, a more important question is how did this idiot ever make it into public office in the first place?

This is getting RIDICULOUS. It isn't that she lied to start the death panel rumors. It's that she actually believes her own bullshit.

I remember when she stood during Pataki's entire State of the State address. She was excoriated by the press after that stunt. I kind of felt sorry for her at the time, i tend to try to see the best in a person.

Now I find out she helped to kill the first public option. She's got a lot of blood on her hands.

For a very large sum of money, she honed in on the most terrifying distortion and unloosed it on the public like a deliberately-infected rabid dog.

It lets the greedy heartless witch off the hook to call her stupid. She planned the campaign that is terrifying seniors and others.

But I think in today's society, both have evolved into something different.

If a person is stupid, they're just that - dumb.

If someone is an idiot, they're more than just stupid. There is malice behind what they're doing.
