Did you miss the Stewart interview with Betsy "Death Panels" McCaughey? Watch it!
http://www.thedailyshow.com/

Watch all the clips, but if you really want to see what an evasive, dishonest wretch she is, watch the extended clip: Exclusive - Betsy McCaughey Extended Interview Pt. 2. Make sure you see it (it starts with Stewart talking about Reagan and Medicare). She actually says that she believes the House version of the bill is trying to kill older people and that the politicians who wrote did this on purpose.

Is McCaughey completely out of touch? Watch the last 30 seconds when Stewart suggests tht McCaughey's decades-long dedication to reading legislation is not unlike smoking pot for a similar amount of time. She thought it was a compliment.

1. When she came out with that huge binder filled to overflowing with papers
and Jon pointed out the usefulness of post-it notes to mark pages or passages of interest, I knew she was an idiot.

7. One could get the impression that she never read it with the intention of discussing it.
Was her binder simply a prop?

2. Just another lying right wing hack that uses a loud voice and rudeness to make her "points"
I don't know how Stewart could control himself - I would have been yelling "this is my show, shut up for a second and listen, you ignorant, lying asshole". She was a perfect proponent of the methods of the right wing noise machine.

9. Guests on these programs are coached immediately prior to their appearance.
They are told to defer to the host when they are both attempting to talk at once, and talk to him, not the audience/camera.

She acted like she had gotten out of a cab and walked straight to Jon's desk.

A truly pathetic performance.

4. She was Pataki's (NY) Lt. Governor for a while...
one term, I think, and Pataki couldn't get rid of her fast enough.

Her people spun her disappearance as the Pataki/D'Amato machine getting rid of a truthteller, but the reality was she drove everyone nuts with her motormouth and wild ideas.

10. I would think that a required attribute of a Lt Gov would be the ability to listen.
She demonstrated that she does not possess that skill.

11. When the broadcast concludes, Stewart will direct you back to the Comedy Central website.
You'll see why. Go directly to the clip suggested in the OP.

8. Betsy thought it would be like going on Faux. Just show up
with your big, fat stack of proposed legislation and lie to the audience about what is actually there. The folks at Faux are too lazy and too owned by big pharma and the HMOs (as is Betsy - that's who's signing her checks these days. I think she forgot to mention that on TDS)to actually question her rants. Stewart's tone was perfect. He was polite but swatted back her lies easily. He was clearly more informed than she was. Newt tried the same game on the Sunday shows. Just lie about what is actually proposed and hope that no one actually will confront you with facts. He ended up looking as foolish as Betsy did last night.
Thank God for smart people.

13. I loved Stewart's comment about being rich
McCaughey pointed out that he could buy health care for himself and his family because he's rich. Stewart responded that that was why he didn't mind paying taxes to help make sure others got health care.

I'm sure any conservatives watching were completely befuddled by that idea.
