And You Thought The New Credit Card Law Would Help? HA !!.... LINK
It will take a RICO action and sending some of the Credit Card CEOs to jail to rein in this bunch of criminals.

Just as we suspected, every attempt to add a consumer protection has been outmaneuvered by the Credit Card Companies who fought for and obtained loopholes to continue their exploitation of credit card holders.

We don't allow loan sharks to compete on a level playing field with these crooks.

1. What it will take is all of us that can
to pay off and cancel cards until it hits them in the profit margin...they'll have to lower rates to entice new customers again...F...em

I've canceled mine and told them why...I'll pay cash from now on...no more financing or credit cards...I've even cut back on check writing...I've found that when I pay cash I seem to have more of it than I thought...even though I'm only working part-time I've even been able to save thousands, where before every penny seemed to go to paying off bills with interest...paying extra (in interest) for the privilege of using their cash is for the birds...

2. I just came out of a Chapter 13 bankruptcy in April.
Credit cards were what got me into trouble. I have vowed to never have another credit card. For the past 3 years while I was still in bankruptcy, I was not allowed by the court to have any credit whatsoever. I have learned to pay cash. If I can't pay cash for something, I just don't buy it.
