Poll question: How Many Right Wing Zealots Are There Anyway?
Birthers, Hooters, Howlers, gun-toting narcissists, Divinely inspired fruit-cakes, or Confederate flag draped patriots, just what portion of the voting public do you think the Right-wing zealots constitute? I've always thought they were a lot louder than their numbers should support - possibly fewer now than remained in support of Bush on January 19.

So, how many?

3. Indeed, Sir, The 10% to 25% Seems About Right To Me As Well, Unfortunately
It is way too large for comfort, or even for patriotic pride in the country....

5. That's about where I am too
Of course there is a regional aspect to this question as well; I am guessing places like Oregon and Vermont the numbers look a lot better, while in Alabama and Missouri maybe a little worse (or a lot worse).

7. 15 percent, +/- 3 percent.
Figuring that about 30 percent of the country are registered Republicans, and about half of them are nutters.

I just pulled that number out of my ass.
