Sears really needs to rethink their product lines:




It turns out, however, that the real problem was the Sears website was built in a way that let anyone mess with the category descriptions.

I watched this the other day as it was going on. One guy discovered that the goofy categories would be reprised on the next direct fetch (w/no appended data string) from the server. In other words, the server replaced the default fields in its database with whatever crap you put in the URL. So, when your grandma came by, she was also offered deals on "Fucking BigAss Power Saws."

Yeah, they need to be fired, like last week.
