The lady with an imagination so good that Spongebob could learn from her has decided to make a surprising career move after her great performance on Stewart last night.

Dick Armey was forced out of his lobbying shop, and now opposition to health care reform has taken a professional toll on another critic: A New Jersey medical device company, Cantel, just announced that Betsy McCaughey -- the day after sparring with Jon Stewart -- is "resigning to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest during the national debate over healthcare reform."

Tisk, tisk, tisk.....

The Orly Tatiz of Health Care reform, now out of a job and joining the jobless...

Just in case you didn't see the trainwreck interview, here......

4. Oh, she's not going away.
She's just trying to get out of the public eye. She'll be continuing her nefarious work behind the scenes. Bet on it.

5. They always manage to land on their feet. But if she's out of work, how's her health care?
I would love to see one of these hypocritical loudmouths forced into the condition in which they'd like to keep the poor and uninsured exactly as they are. They should know what it's like.

I saw a cartoon somewhere (anybody know where it is?) that summed up the health care debate. Two men sitting on a bench, one a little better-dressed than the other if I recall correctly. The caption, indicating that it's the better-dressed man speaking, says something along the lines of - "you should die so I don't have to pay more taxes."

6. She's an ex-CEO with a golden parachute.
A multi-millionaire. She has no problems affording gold-plated healthcare. I remember the cartoon you're talking about, but have no idea where you could find it at this point.

Also, I agree that they should all know what it's like to have to be a wage slave for a barely survivable paycheck and be uninsured/underinsured.

9. Bingo! That's the one! A classic! It should be on everyone's fingertips anytime

you have the misfortune to encounter one of the IGMFU tribe - "I Got Mine, F-U". They're not about "Country First". They're about "ME First." With a side of "And Screw You." Or, I suppose, in the spirit of dick cheney, "Go Fuck Yourself."

Thanks for finding it! Bookmarked, rec'ed, and kicked so more people see it.

7. She's the kind of woman who gives blondes a bad name.
My husband caught Jon's smackdown on Maddow's show tonight. He wants to know if McCaughey's blonde hair goes all the way to her brain.
