We Canadians, left and right, are getting a bit pissed off at the attacks on our beloved health care system.

I'm a Canadian living in the US and thinking I might be better off heading back up north. I don't want to do that because I have a life here now, but they way it looks, if they don't get a single payer like we have up there, it might not be an option to stick around. The system here stinks even with coverage. You can NOT choose your Doctor, that is dictated by the insurance company by which doctors are on their "list" And the co-pays and list of things not covered, never mind the percentage of some things not covered, amounts to about 65% coverage over all. If I had a real problem, I'd be fucked, even WITH insurance.... They need to smarten up and get this thing passed (single payer) or the whole country will be up shit creek! SERIOUSLY! This is the beginning of the end if they lose the single payer fight!
