Using data from a website, I compiled the following information regarding the current members of the Defense Policy Board. The results are eye-opening and disconcerting.

There are 20 members of the DPB. Currently, of those 20 members two are women. The rest, obviously, are men and come from a very strange mix of backgrounds – academic, federal government, and military. Consider the following:

Nine have been affiliated with PNAC. Of those nine, eight have been signatories on “policy” statements or helped found. One has collaborated on policy statements. Five are affiliated with the Committee on the Present Danger. Three are currently members of the American Enterprise Institute. Three are fellows of the Hoover Institute and one is a member of the Heritage Foundation. At least two currently are affiliated with JINSA. One is also a member of both the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission and an accused war criminal.

Some of the corporate interests with whom these 20 members are affiliated are as follows: Boeing, Northrup, Grumman, Bechtel, TRW, Rumsfeld Space Commission, Rumsfeld Missile Commission, and one is a registered lobbyist for Johnson and Associates (energy-related).

One member is the sister of Frank Gaffney, a right-wing patriarch.
