that Obama should have better explained the public option in his first 100 days, when he had all the goodwill in the world (almost all the goodwill). That he should have explained it as Medicare for all, and that - I think many criticize it - should have come with his own plan and not leave it to Congress.
13. Center of universe feeling is a common trait for those
on TV or in politics or entertainment or finance or law... or John and Jane Doe.
They are all wrong since it is clear that I am the center of the universe but still, it happens.
You can't always tell by how someone acts if they are conceited or not. Especially in certain professions you have to act confident... and when the camera is on you I guess you are the center of that little universe
I'm sure he does the best he can and hopefully he'll improve in time. He did a couple things as a reporter that keeps me a little fond of him. One was when he and Brian Williams interviewed Palin and McCain and talked to MSNBC when they left there. Brian was cool and professional. Chuck was amazed. He expressed amazement at the tension between them. He talked about how you were just overpowered by the "negative vibes" I had to laugh...it must have been very tense because Chuck is not the kind of guys who talks "vibes"
The other thing I liked was when someone said Robert Gibbs was lying about something. Chuck said strongly "He doesn't lie" He really stood up for him. He said something like he might avoid answering or be indirect but he had known Gibbs for years and he would not lie. That is quite a thing to say about a press secretary, it can make you look quite naive. I heard they'd been friends but I was still impressed that he did not hesitate to really defend him from the accusation.
Chuck was great with numbers. This is not his natural field...I'm hoping he grows into it over time.
