Gathering for protests or just want timely slogan t-shirts? STUPID.....
Watched Real Time last night and Bill had a great line (shoot, he probably got it here somewhere...lol).

STUPID IS A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION.

A dear friend is working for an advertising/fundraising/promotional products company, and they are a VERY progressive company. I plan to work with them for any promo needs for clients.

He toyed with the idea of a site a year ago, when he became aware of the dipshitiness of the right-wingers (yes, he was slow to awaken), called SmartAss Media.

Well, he's having me create the site for him this weekend and he's ready to rock 'n roll. The "stupid" line can kick off a whole line of progressive messagewear/ware.

Starting with this:

I know there are a ton of great sites, including thousands of CafePress stores with similar great products, but I simply want to promote companies -- both local and those who can provide services and products regardless of location -- who are, in my mind, doing the right thing. They hire special-needs persons and train them whereas many small companies won't do that; they donate to local grassroots organizations; help grassroots organizations by printing promotional products for events and they don't have to pay until after the event, for example.

Good peeps. :)

For now, for individual orders people can go to CafePress. For bulk orders (probably as low as a dozen), his company is giving a great discount (and sometimes net-15-day terms when an event is involved...they really want to support progressive groups and causes). They also want to donate a percentage of proceeds regarding these "progressive products" to a good cause/local organization. I think the local food bank is a good choice for these products, don't you think?

I'm going to do what I can to get a functional site up and running for them to cater to the progressive crowd. As catchy slogans and messages come to mind, they can be added. I'd like to see this company do well.

I'll try to get the CafePress site ready for individual orders later today, to gauge interest, and the main site ready in the next few days.

If you have any questions or interest in anything I've rambled about here, just PM me.

I find their current website confusing and is really for pure customization for business and large organizational clients. I'll post their website when I get this "progressive portal" set up for them. I didn't get their permission to post their site anywhere...so I'm just talking about them for now. :)

Here is the first step of this progressive portal:
