MSNBC still treating Republican lies like the other side of the story.

If we're going to win the healthcare fight we need spokespeople to go on TV and use the word LIAR!

Death panels, forced abortions and illegal immmigrants... LIES

Also.. the "it's going to be like 1994" LIE. Why are Democrats worrying about that? It's NEVER going to be like 1994 because they were using the optical scanning technology to steal elections back then.

We've been winning elections ever since the paper trails started getting put in.. That started in 2005... See

Diebold to market paper-trail e-voting system
It's about time,' says one e-voting paper-trail backer
Grant Gross
January 27, 2005 (IDG News Service) Diebold Election Systems Inc., a target of many electronic-voting critics during the 2004 U.S. election, announced today that it has completed the design for a printer that would give its e-voting machines a paper trail.

We've been winning elections ever since because they were NEVER winning. They were stealing the whole time. The Reagan revolution was astroturfed!

I think the Bluedogs are just using this as an excuse. We may lose some seats, especially if the Democrats sit on their hands like scared rabbits, but it won't be to many. Maybe in our reddest districts but we'll probably pick up seats too. People are mad at the republican lies and obstructionism.

I'm way less worried about 2010 then I am about the MSM's insistance that Republicans who bald face lie about stuff should just be able to do it while worthless hosts just sit there like potted plants. That has an effect. Viewers think "They must be telling the truth or the host would say something" I'm sure the media knows that and that's exactly why they just sit there saying nothing.

Since Jan 21st the MSM has set out to help the republicans bring down this President. They have bent over backward and everybody has watched them do it.

I don't know what we can do about that but push for media reform. If you're claiming to be a NEWS Channel you should be required to tell the truth. It's suppose to be the NEWS and if the NEWS isn't TRUE that's a problem.

Maybe we can get Jon Stewart to invite news channel hosts on his show so he can ask them "what in the fuck are you doing?"

7. Alex Witt's lilting intonations drive me absolutely crazy. She must think
little kids have foregone the cartoons and are watching her on M$NBC instead.

3. it hardly matters, it has to be filtered thru the 'media spin'
in media world, death panels and nazi presidents exist right next to universal health care for citizens

4. Things will get etter when Wolf Blitzer takes a hint from Rachel Maddow
In other words, never.

Some "journalists" are paid not to call liars when they spout lies.

Fox is not the only channel out there offering "entertainment journalism."
CNN et al ate just a little more reluctant to admit it, that's all.

electronic security. The secretly counted optical scanner starts with a hand-marked paper ballot, usuallly the legal reference, which can be hand-counted as a cross check-like banks do-but never is in an election. The e-vote, impermanent and often poorly printed adding machine type roll paper trail is not software independent, but created in the same unknown, privatized and secret electronic circuitry. Completely electronic, can change at any time and we never know. States want to replace but can't afford to, and truth be told, don't want the work of paper and scanners.

We got rid of clunky but accurate, democratically observable and transparent mechanical machines because of the chad business in 2000, when even Bush came on TV saying we needed computers. A very planned takeover of our elections by private and secret means.

The lever machine, which we're trying unsuccessfully to keep in NY, is like a bicycle, with visable gears and levers. When it breaks down, we know, but electronics, never.

There is a reason the FBO fraid squad says 87% of business are hacked and 44% insider. Lots of power at stake.

The 2004 election was stolen in many ways, like a million different cuts of disenfranchisement, in more states than just Ohio, which required a false homeland security reason to shut down in secret at the 11th hour. All of Ohio was on an RNC server in TN and if numbers hold, switched.

That doesn't account for red states having 4,000 more votes than people and never questioned. There has never been a complete audit of an electonic election.

We cannot test for security in electronics, because it can't be done.

10. Town hall mobs = swift boaters. Media yawns. Good Alternet article.
"What has been perfectly consistent is the way the press has, again, fallen for a right-wing smear campaign and dressed it up as news. ... It turns out journalists are petrified of calling out right-wing activists as liars, and the other side knows it. ... The "town hells" are really just mob rule masquerading as a health care debate, masquerading as direct democracy. ... like the 2004 Swift Boat offensive, the mini-mobs are just another right-wing hoax that's managed to fool the press."
