Prediction - Health Insurance Reform won't play a big role in the 2012 elections

President Obama will not be remembered for the health insurance reform that will be passed his first year in office any more than Nixon is remembered for signing the EPA into existence or opening communications with China. Three and a half years from now today's hot topics will be yesterday's fish with as yet unseen priorities the swing issues of the moment. About the only issue you can bet to between you and the ballot will be the war - and you might remember what Nixon promised. If history is any guide in the fall of 2011 someone will have a secrete plan to bring our boys home - and that fellow or gal will win the election.

As my dear old grandmother (the religious one from Ohio, not the lovable wild woman from South Carolina) used to say from time to time, 'this too shall pass'.
