Will the conservatives engage in civil disobedience if the health care bill passes?

What are they going to do? Block previously uninsured people from getting health care at clinics all over the country?

Maybe they will form a human chain of pasty faced, khaki pants wearing white people, who will try to stop poor people from going to the doctor's office?

"Stop that child from getting health care! We're blocking the doctor's office!"

They could stop paying their taxes, or they could refuse to use the public option. Or I suppose they could go the other way. Use the option frivolously, try to overload the system and then point to the wreckage and say "See? Long lines and poor service! Just like we told you!"

In fact, I bet that's what they'll do. You heard it here first.

4. They will continue to agitate their base with fear...

They will appeal to a smaller circle of crazies.

Some of those crazies will act out of fear and do terrible things. This will continue to alienate the non-crazies, centrists, and fiscal conservatives.

Eventually, the party will die and a new conservative party will rise to take its place.
