Hey folks -- anyone moving on the Remote Area Medical free clinic in DC during health debate???

This was one of the best ideas ever floated on DU re health care. It's a bit different from the Illion Man March in the DU Activist forum.

Is anyone doing anything about this? Can we petition RAM? Put something sticky on the front page and refer MoveOn.org to it?

Don't let this great idea die!

1. I posted the idea here - the person who came up with the idea contacted RAM.

We'll see if they do anything with it.

If more people contacted them with the idea it might improve the buzz and the chances.

Could you post the link to your thread?

And could we maybe have one of those threads for people to check in after they've emailed RAM?

In fact, could we first get together a thread with a form letter plus contact information to the parties and organizations that can make it happen?

In other words, how can we organize to make this happen and not just be an idea that was posted and sort of drifted away?
