where Rush says sometop, so over the time, unmistakably insulting his base, that he can't return. Nobody returns his phonecalls. His successor is chosen before his chair is cold. And he doesn't realize it right away. He is yesterday's news, a hasbeen.

The Body Snatchers. That was creepy and unhuman like Rush.

Or the guttural reverberating howling/honking blasts from the ships in Spielberg's War of The Worlds.

Sounds that entail a lot of wind escaping in spine chilling ways.
