14. Seems to me that a lot of that has to do with replicators
When most items are no longer scarce then there's no need for money.

15. Sure, that makes sense, but let me ask you this....
if only a very few have succeeded brilliantly at cornering the preponderance of wealth which grants them near absolute power, then why would they ever allow such a technology to be developed and widely deployed?

16. Maybe the replicator was created by a bunch of hippie types
And it would probably be difficult to keep the replicator from being widely deployed since you can replicate more replicators.
