Dennis Prager: slaves had health care too
his latest stupidity came during a rant against France, where he said there is a class of permanently unemployed people, but hey, they have health care.

Then says, slaves had health care too, since their owners wanted to keep them healthy.

Says, I'd rather be free without health care than a slave with health care.

1. May you get your wish, Dennis
May you find yourself without health care.

2. Who cares what that creepy hosebag thinks?
I'll never forget his series of articles on how women should put out for their husbands whether they want to or not.

5. When the Afghanistan woman-starving law passed, I emailed the story to him
asked him, should we think about doing that here?

3. There is a class of permanently unemployed people EVERYWHERE
made up of those with disabilities that keep them from being able to work, retired citizens who shouldn't have to work as well as others who have healthcare provided by the government.

Why does he think this only exists in France?

7. no, everyone in the U.S. will be rich if they work hard enough
(liberals are lazy, so they are destined for failure, i.e. the middle-class or lower)

therefore we should all support tax cuts on the rich, in our own future self-interest. :sarcasm:

4. So Prager thinks americans should be treated worse than slaves.
Interesting, but not surprising

8. All slaves had healthcare - all French have healthcare - all French are slaves
I don't get his syllogism. Regarding the class of permanently unemployed people and how that factors in, I don't get it. Is he calling them slaves when he admits they're unemployed? Are the unemployed slaves or are they unemployed? And what about all of the discouraged workers in the U.S. who exhaust their unemployment benefits and disappear from the books? Do they at least have health insurance in the U.S. or does Dennis even care about that?

13. Prager logic
if it might sound halfway reasonable to someone desperate to support conservative ideology, then it's true.

9. What a completely worthless human being.
And I don't say that lightly. I do, however, use the term "human being" with the most loosest of definitions.

11. Dennis Prager does not feed, clothe, educate and provide health care
for a family of four on $40,000 per year in Los Angeles. I'd like to see him try to work that magic. He'd soon learn what slavery is all about. He might even decide slavery was a good deal -- at least you don't have to worry day and night about losing your job and having absolutely nothing for your family -- except a tiny unemployment check.

12. Have it your way, Dennis. Refuse healthcare to avoid slavery.

14. You don't have to go to France to find a class of permanently unemployed people
Try Detroit, Ohio, or the textile plant towns in North Carolina.

And guess what? They don't even have health care!

15. And the most amazing thing?
Is that Mr. Prager still sits on the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, according to the latest annual report 2008-2009.
