'Was not fortunate enough to be a Ted Kennedy delegate at the 1980
convention but certainly spent inspired hours as a volunteer for that primary campaign.

The news of his death is extraordinarily sad, given the long decades of public service by a good man born into private wealth. To possess riches and influence and convert both to the public good compromised of people with neither is heroic.

Thank you, Ted Kennedy, for that.
