I wish that John Jr. were still here. He would be a great voice.

1. Me too
I never stop thinking that he was killed too, somehow. Not sure why, just seen too much I guess.

3. Why is this unrec?
I saw your other post and understand exactly what you meant before you edited but this one is a good post. I'm sure many would agree with you but don't understand how instantly it is below 0. I'll give it a rec after this post.

4. He would be, but I'm pretty sure he didn't express any interest
in carrying on the Kennedy political dynamics.

I can't believe it's been a whole decade since he's been gone. :(

6. There was a lot of pressure on him to get involved. His looks sure didn't hurt.

It used to be politicians and opera singers didn't have to be pretty. The pressure's on both groups now.

10. I know...even I was a bit disappointed when I found out he
wouldn't be following in the footsteps of his dad and uncles.

who knows what his reasons were...maybe he thought about the assassinations...which, if he did, would make his death all the more ironic, wouldn't it...

imagine him fearing assassination if he entered the political arena, only to lose his life in the totally senseless (not that any death is sensible!) way he did.

Such a sad loss of so much potential... :(

7. Certainly I wish he were here, but I don't think he would have been any great voice
for liberal causes like Ted or Bobby were.

9. Correct. Projecting progressivism on someone with no progressive track record. Again. nt
