If it wasn't for Ted Kennedy

This little girl would not have the pretty smile she has.

This is my 3 year old daughter. Unfortunately, she inherited her mother's teeth and needed some dental work by the time she was 2. I pay an exorbitant amount for health insurance at my job which, unfortunately doesn't cover dental and after paying the medical premiums I just couldn't afford a dental plan, nor could I afford to pay cash to get her teeth fixed. We finally qualified for SCHIP earlier this year and they paid to have her teeth fixed.

God bless and Godspeed Senator Kennedy, and thank you for caring and fighting for us common working slugs and our families. You will be missed. :patriot:

Great to know he helped your daughter.

He helped me too in a major way about 10 years ago. He was a great man, the likes of which I doubt we as Americans will ever see again.

His body of work in public service has helped and will continue to help millions. He took it on the chin from his opponents and never let it bother him, he just kept on chugging, not for him, but for us.
