Director at Premier Radio Networks & ABC Radio calls Kennedy "piece of garbage"
This is the kind of hateful, disgusting, vile and vicious CRAP!! that really should make all Dems open their "effing" eyes about bipartisanship.

It's about God Damn time a serious grassroots effort began to punish these "souless ass-pickels" that have brought our political discourse to the point where fucking people are bringing assault rifles to Town Hall meetings!!!!

Stay "Fucking Classy" ABC!

Look at this fucking statement from the director of programming at ABC radio.

I'm so effing pissed I can't see straight!!!!!

emphasis mine

"According to his LinkedIn.com profile, Eric Stanger currently works as:

Director of Affiliate Marketing, Premiere Radio Networks
Director of Talk Programming, ABC Radio/Citadel Broadcasting
Director of Affiliate Relations, The Sean Hannity Show

I wonder how Mr. Hannity, Premier Radio Networks and ABC Radio/Citadel Broadcasting feel about his Facebook comment concerning Ted Kennedy's passing (emphasis added):

The irony is that the media is already positioning Ted as a champion for the little man against wealth and privilege. This piece of garbage was the poster child for wealth and privilege. Hopefully, this event will mark the end of this repugnant family and all the endless crap, entitlement, personal indulgences and collateral damage (Kopechne, Bessette, Bowman, Moxely, etc.)."

2. Sickening, But
I wonder what he'd say about a local ABC (TV) affiliate doing a story on a rural school teacher from northern Wisconsin and Senator Kennedy:

10. As far as I'm concerned...that's ABC's "effing" problem
They allow their name and logo to be used...then I can only assume that they "support" and "condone" this crap.

Someone needs to explain to me...54% of the American people elected a Democratic President and vast majorities in both the House and Senate. Considering that fact, how can this company shit on 54% of the American people, without those 54% stomping the guts out of said company????

13. my point is that if someone wants this guy fired, asking ABC to do it isn't the way
since he doesn't work for them.

12. First thing that occurred to me
The voters of Massachusetts had several opportunities to replace Ted Kennedy as their Senator. They never did. And I'll put Sen. Kennedy's record of governmental accomplishment up against each and every member of the Bush clan, and twice on Sunday. Thanks to Sen. Kennedy, to cite just one example from his distinguished career, millions of young women went to college and participated in competitive sports under Title IX since the 1970s. Thanks to George H.W. Bush, Iran was able to purchase U.S. weaponry to use against Iraq, and the proceeds were used to line the pockets of a bunch of crooks and fund terrorism in Central America.

Which accomplishment looks better on a resume?

21. I guess you folks don't remember what these kind of folks said about JFK
when he was assassinated? Their hate for the Kennedys rivals their hate of the Clintons.

14. That's how people who admire MJ feel when he's called hateful names. Now, I'm NOT comparing the two
men - there is no comparison - both were icons in very different realms in this world with sometimes troublesome pasts for which publicity somehow defied the truth at times.

BUT - I am comparing the behavior and how it makes people feel. Just something to think about. Not that caring about other people's feelings in grief or at any other time is any fashionable thing to do here on DU or elsewhere. Mostly, it isn't. Obviously.

That said, R.I.P. dear Teddy - and may there be Karma for those who spew hatred about any fine human being who contributed so much to humanity and the world - and Teddy Kennedy certainly did that.

It's not surprising our public discourse has sunken to the levels it has, considering that large (or small but very loud) portions of society consider morality and decency throwaway values and who insist on spitting on the barely-cold bodies of those who lived them as opposed to just making a pretense of it.

I'm sure I'll get flamed to hell and back for this comparison so I won't revisit this thread and will don the flame-suit now.

R.I.P. dear Uncle Teddy. :loveya:

16. Well, I will say that despite his foibles (hey, who doesn't have some)
MJ sold more records than The Beatles.

It seems that when Democrats get their shit together, they can accomplish great things. I could think of nothing better than making sure the only advertiser on Hannity, Limbaugh and Beck's shows is hairreplacement.com

17. Perhaps we should lobby Randi Rhodes to go on strike for a day...

Since she works for (or at least has a contract with) Premiere Radio Networks.

Not sure how she can put up being in the same "package" that folks like Glen Beck and other wingnuts are on daily.

I remember earlier people were calling for a boycott of her show when they put in a wingnut to sub for her. I have a friend and old coworker (I still consider hi a friend) who talked about some other workers there feeling the same way about that nimrod replacement, and though she still felt Jon Elliott was an improvement over him as a replacement, she was looking forward to Rhodes' return.

Not sure how one could work at a place like that and have to put up with talking with someone like Beck for a half hour or so at a time, but I guess he was able to do so.

19. Well, Citadel only allows for voice mail
But, they broadcast Mark Levin & the Huckabee Show, so I'm guessing that they could give two shits what a third rate programmer says.

However, Premiere Radio Networks was a bit more interested. I called their LA office and read the remarks to a Marketing person. She didn't like them and when I mentioned that I'm sure a lot of Kennedy supporters would likely boycott their stations when this news became viral, she let me leave a msg for a Bert Guthrup (I'm only guessing on the spelling of his name).

I'm sure EriKKK Stanger is a good little Hannity nazi - but if we get the word out, maybe he'll be an unemployed nazi.
