Ethel Kennedy?
Is she doing okay? I don't recall hearing her mentioned when Eunice Shriver died, nor have I heard her mentioned today, other than a reporter in Hyannis Port saying she saw one of Ethel's children arrive. Anybody know?

3. I knew she was still alive because I'm sure I'd have recalled if she died between
endorsing Obama and now, but found it a little odd that she wasn't (that I know of) at her sister-in-law's funeral, and that she hasn't spoken about Teddy's passing. Maybe nobody has asked her. :shrug: We'll see if she appears at the memorial or funeral.

Although I could be "mis-remembering", I thought she did a little bit of campaigning for President Obama.

4. Ahhh... I knew she endorsed Obama, but I didn't realize she campaigned for him.
I know she's still alive, so maybe we'll see her over the next several days.

5. She's aged badly -
all that sun, all those sunburns, have come back to haunt her. I saw her a couple of years ago.

I suspect vanity has a lot to do with keeping out of the spotlight, but, truly, she was never anyone whose opinion was sought - her kids are all stars, but Ethel is just background now.

i guess in some folks' minds, old women should all look like joan rivers.

she has age spots? big deal, so do i.

"vanity" over her looks kept her from the funeral? oh, bull. complete invention.

You want her to look like Joan Rivers. She is 81, as long as she isn't

wearing a ventilator, she looks fine.

people with that horrifying over-the-top cosmetic surgery that it's almost become "normal". It's pretty sad.
