The Scarborough country club set does not understand why the Kennedy's
have been so well remembered in books and film and the Bush family hasn't. After all the Kennedy's did not achieve as many office titles as the Bush family? They don't get that the Kennedys came from the working class, never forgot it, and lived their lives pretty much in the open and did not try to screw the nation over.

1. Yes, the Kennedys believe in service to one's country...
rather than taking from it everything that they can get for their own advantage.

2. it's not how much money you have or your titles and accolades....
it's what you do in your life to make the lives of others better. the bush clan did help the lives of others.... their rich cronies. the kennedy's have worked to make the lives of the rest of us better. THAT'S the difference.

4. The Bushes have done NOTHING philanthropically-speaking.
The Bushes are leeches. There are no "scholars" in the Bush family. No one of prominence for anything other than their wealth. The Bushes "make money" for a living, period. They don't help people, they don't care about anyone other than themselves. It is very difficult for Republicans to understand the difference between the Kennedys and Bushes for that simple reason...Republicans don't understand why, when you already 'got yours,' you'd still bother to help a person you wouldn't even allow to work in the kitchen at your country club.

24. Churches cannot afford to pay for healthcare. We're talking expensive
tests, expensive operations, expensive drugs, expensive hospital stays and expensive rehabilitation. One person's hospital stay could bankrupt them.

6. The Kennedys did a lot of good, but they did not come from the "working class"
it would be more accurate to say they championed the working class, which is still good.

but the way you phrased that is misleading. The Kennedys have always been well-heeled since Joe.

9. joe@msnbc.com. Email them and let them know the difference..
My email: Subject: Kennedy's vs. bush's

Are you freakin' kidding me? The Kennedy's actually did things to IMPROVE the lives of others. The bush only did things to improve the lives of people who were already rich. DUH.

10. The mafia is not going to make a movie about their government mafia branch if they can't
make it in to a comedy. Jr was a living comedy - and they can't highlight it.

Other film makers make documentaries and there will probably be quite a few of them.

There should be an alternative history channel for truth and justice.

If they don't understand why no films have been made, they should not complain - it will be better for their legacy if there are NO films.

If they do start, let there be one that shows who was in Dallas on the day and the days before, including NIXON.

Morning Joe - fodder for the foolishly gullible.

15. The Bushes served the wealthy elite.
The Kennedys served the poor, the middle class, the disabled, the minorities who lacked an effective advocate in government.

The Bushes cut taxes for the wealthy and funneled money and special favors to their corporate buddies. The Kennedys fought for the people without political clout to make the "American dream" a possibility for them through fair pay, education, health care, equal opportunity.

http://www.smirkingchimp.com/thread/3815

And I don't think the Bushes have held more titles or positions in government than the entire Kennedy clan. Scarborough needs to prove that.
