Top Chef shops at WholeFoods

I think I will send them an email. I won't say I won't watch the show but I will say they should rethink Wholefoods for next year.
How does that sound?

the kind of quality -- and number of organic product available in multiple cities?

farmer markets are often only on weekends -- and they do in some episodes shop in farmers markets -- which is great.

logistics seems to be some of the problem.

but as a general notion -- i agree -- and i am boycotting whole foods.

As much as people here complain about the opposition's lack of a plan, here we have a CEO (who is compensated $1/year) proposes an (in the opinion of many, viable) alternative plan that works well for his company. I may not agree with his plan, but he is certainly entitled to speak his mind. I refuse to boycott one of the most progressive and responsible companies in the country.

I love Whole Foods. And Top Chef.

Good chefs "Top Chefs," know what and where the best local produce within their areas. They know where the top quality fish markets, farmers markets, etc., are to supply their kitchens. They only use Whole Foods on this show because it is the sponsor. If Whole Foods are all that good, they wouldn't need to use the tactics of undermining their competitors.

They probably aren't given a time limit to get what they need. Whole Foods works for the show because it is a competition.

i just dont see the big deal - i may have missed it but it seems like this is an attempt to demoinze big corporate, dont get me wrong there are plenty of big .inc's that deserve the attention they get.... but whole foods - i am not seeing it.
