1. they all were, donchaknow?
oh yeah! They'll tell you all about their exploits as elite fighting commandos who sneaked behind enemy lines to single-handedly turn the tide of whatever war they thought they were in.

4. We know the Freeper's fearless leaders didn't serve.
George Bush was AWOL on a drunken, cocaine binge.

Dick Cheney got one deferment after another, after another, etc.

None of them have any room to talk. They supported these people who did not serve. By criticizing anyone else, it just proves what hypocrites they are.

17. WHOA!
George W. Bush bravely and proudly guarded Texas airspace from a surprise Vietnamese air attack. All while sacrificing himself on a bar stool and throwing himself on hookers, just to protect America's finest, who were about to ship off to the war.
:sarcasm:

Dick Cheney... Well, he had what it took to be a soldier, because he shot a guy in the face.

Rather than face them on our home turf?? Interesting concept. How long do you think my post would last there? Not as long as yours have here.

PS

Freepers are cowards, they prove it every day here. And they prove it by trying to derail health care when they need it as much as anyone They are only loyal to whomever has dollar bills in their hands.

10. I'm not sure where you are coming from with this
Teddy is not eligible to be buried at Arlington because of his military service, you apparently have to be in the service and retire from the service to be eligible. Heard that somewhere on MSNBC yesterday. However, he is eligible because of his service in the Senate. Not trying to put Teddy's service down here, good for him for serving, and at least he did serve (unlike dubya), just pointing out that it doesn't qualify him for Arlington, he was only in for 2 years.

And f*^k the freeper scumbags.

He made a mistake, as we all do at one time or another. It was an accident.

That was why I asked. I have heard some freeper types saying that he shouldn't be buried at Arlington. There have been so many disgusting freeper posts lately I wasn't sure which one you were referring to.

21. Burial at Arlington
If you served in any branch of the service and were honorably discharged you are eligible for interment at Arlington National Cemetary. You can be cremated and intered at the columnburiam that is at the South Post Side of Arlington National. If you retired or served in combat then you can be either buried or cremated. Those who are killed in combat are automatically eligible for burial. Ted Kennedy is eligible for internment based on his service in the army and his service in the Senate. I see nothing wrong with him being buried with his brothers and sister in law. I grew up in Arlington Virginia and spent many sumemrs at the officers club swimming pool at Fort Myers which sits above the cemetary.

He has earned it. I just wasn't sure where the OP was going with his statement, which seemed to lack details. A good friend's parents are interred in the columnburiam at Arlington. Teddy belongs with his brothers. :hi:

I got lectured by a Freeper the other day for not attending a dedication ceremony for a WWII memorial (I had a prior family commitment). It came from one of those guys who loves to strut around the gym but who has never experienced getting up at 4 AM to do PT in a place like Columbus, Killeen, Lawton, or Sierra Vista, never mind humping a ruck in Iraq, Afghanistan, or the Balkans.
