How do I handle this?
"democrats are morons. im glad they won this past election, it reminds the people just how ingnorant the party is. as much as its gonna suck the next 3.5 years, I knew it'd take losing 1 election for the voters to realize their wrongs. 3.5 more years til the Reps are back in charge"

This is a post from a kid I work with on facebook. He is constantly spouting the latest right wing talking points, and when I debate him, he has no knowledge of anything political beyond the surface.

I am really tired of putting up with right wing bullshit comments, especially when most of them are so easily disproven.

I guess the easy thing to do is just un-friend him on facebook. I still have to work with him but he is really so ignorant it is easy to devastate him in debates...he just doesn't realize it.

2. You don't need that crap on your page.
Politely explain to him that his moronic posts aren't appropriate on your page and if he continues to clutter it with such silliness you will have no choice but to revoke his welcome. Make it clear that you have no problem with him posting sane and sensible comments, but if he heard it from Limbaugh or FOX, you've already heard the comment and already laughed at the stupidity. It is old garbage.

4. I did respond to him
and asked him if he would like me to remove him from my friends list since he obviously didn't want a moron as a friend. He then removed it and replied with this long rambling post saying he didn't say I was a moron and had no idea how I could have gotten that from his post...

Anyway, I will go to work tonight. Cook everyone breakfast, which he will enjoy, with food I bought and he will probably "forget" to reimburse me for.

The funny thing is, almost everyone at work likes me because I am nice, positive, upbeat and reach out to all my fellow employees to make the work environment better. I spend a good deal of my own time and money preparing food (which I absolutely don't have to do) for everyone since we work at night and there are few options available. The same people who tell me how much better the workplace is because of me, have no problem bashing my political party and president and making statements that I want to kill kids, or grandmas and that I am ignorant or stupid for being a democrat. I am actually one of the smartest people there (not to toot my own horn).

Anyway, this really rubbed me the wrong way and I am getting fed up with being the nice guy that people like him shit on.

8. Start tapering off doing it. Say it's increasing your deficit so you're taking

a page out of the Repug book and no longer funding it because it is not budget neutral.

You sound like a generous person. But remember what Ann Landers used to say, people can't take advantage of you unless you let them.

3. I wonder which r/w "moran" he's listening to.
Has he been able to provide one positive thing the rethugs have done since November 2008, or even 8 years before that?

You're right. He's probably not worth your time or effort. This is the point he sticks his fingers in his ears and starts singing to drown you out.

5. I'd unfriend him
in a heartbeat. Life is too short to have to deal with that kind of shit on your own time. Too bad you can't still get a free whopper for the ditching.

6. Stupid can't be fixed.
people that have been awake for the last eight years understand that this trillion dollar deficit belongs to George W Bush and the Republican Party. Barack Obama has not spent anything yet close to what was spent in the last eight years.

7. How do you handle it?
It's his Facebook, why the hell do you care? If it bothers you so much, remove him from your friends list so you don't have to see it. Simple.

9. I'd take him off. I've done it myself, and it felt good.
